Hi!
One of my knees hurt when I'm in the lunge, and sometimes when I'm in the cobra and backbend positions. Whenever I am fighting to tuck in the tail bone and tighten the abs it feels like the muscles in my thigh gets pulled and it hurts in my left knee.
I have previously been able fo work around it in the lunge position by having a wall behind me and bending the left leg resting it up against the wall (like my heel is touching my but). I can't do this in the contorture lunge as I am supposed to bend backwards thus hitting my head in the wall.
Do any of you have any tips or tricks to help? I have tried putting pillows or yoga blocks under the knee, but I don't feel like it helps.
